I bought a house, and I am subletting my apartment at Camden Highland Village. It's a 1 bedroom/1.5 bath in a luxury amenity building and 2 blocks from the shops/restaurants at Highland Village. The space is 1,024 sq feet, 5th floor end unit facing west towards the Galleria Mall in the distance and features great sunsets. Freight elevator is down the hall, so it makes for an easy move-in. The unit has 11 foot ceilings, and it's concrete/steel, so you don't hear a thing. Unit features include: large balcony, high-end designer cabinets/lighting, backsplash, granite countertops, stackable washer and dryer, hardwood plank floors. Tons of natural light and closet space, including one hallway closet and large walk-in closet with built in shelves off the master bath. The master bath has a linen closet and has a combo standing glass shower/tub. Rent includes 1 gated parking space on the 2nd FL- there are guest spaces on the first floor and plenty of free street parking on Las Palmas, free valet during business hours, 24 hour concierge, fitness center, spa, pool/hot tub, 1 acre fenced in dog park for residents, on-site guest rental apartment for visitors, business center, and plenty of lounges throughout the building if you work from home. I have loved living here, it's a nice and quiet building and in a great neighborhood. The building is well-maintained, cleaned daily, and the hallways are air conditioned. You can also see my google review of the building. Available March 25, 2023 and the lease runs through May 28, 2023 with option to renew. You'll fill out the normal application with the leasing office and pay an Admin fee of $315. I will also pay to have the unit professionally cleaned upon my move out, so you can have a flawless move in. Deposit has been paid and would transfer to you. *The last week of March would be free (25th-31st), rent is paid thru the end of March. Base rent is $1,979 + amenity/concierge and apartment technology fees = $2,024 per month. Utilities: Electric/Internet - I use Reliant and have had 0 issues with them - 1 outage, but the building has a backup generator that will power half the apartment. Electric averages between $50-80.00/month - highest in summer, but the apartment stays cool all day until the sun moves around in the late afternoon. *Gas/Water/Trash/Pest Control are added to the rent statement and average $30-50/mo depending on water usage. *The April bill will be paid by me, because it would be for charges in March, you would not see these charges until May 1st. *Internet is pre-wired for AT&T but you can use any provider - no issues with the service.
