Renting 1 unfurnished room (120 sq ft), sliding mirror closet with shared full bath (two sinks and roommate's own cabinet space) in a newly renovated single-story home on a cul-de-sac with new appliances in Oceanside approximately 1/2 mile to Mira Costa College, 1 mile to Tri-City Medical Center. Sufficient driveway parking for 1 car. No pets. No water-filled furniture. No firearms. Note that this is a nonsmoking, primarily vegetarian/pescatarian household (for information, not a requirement for the renter). The home includes on-site laundry (garage) and kitchen access (roommate's own kitchen cabinet space is provided). Tenant is responsible for keeping their living space clean and presentable. Tenant is responsible for their own food, kitchen access available anytime; laundry hours are after 8am and before 9pm. No overnight guests. The other roommate (Owner) travels extensively, so the roommate may be the only occupant of the house for extended periods, up to a week or more at a time. Message the Owner for an application in advance, or the application can be provided in person when viewing the property. A background/credit check is required. No fee for the application or the background/credit check. Viewing must be scheduled by appointment with the Owner unless open house calendar dates are posted. Rent/Lease information: Rent $1100/month with $500 deposit. Rent due on the 1st of every month, no exceptions. Utilities/internet are included in the rent. A lease duration of 3 months is preferred as a minimum. With a 6 month or longer lease, the first month's rent is reduced to $600, making the move in cost $1100, same as the monthly rent. After lease expires, the rental agreement becomes month-to-month. A lease longer than 6 months is also an option. Rent due on the 1st of every month, no exceptions. Rental rate may be higher if the tenant working remotely and using the residence as the primary office. Must have established, stable and verifiable employment (typically atleast 1 year with current employer, minimum income $3400/month), excellent credit and references.
