Just a three-minute walk to Humboldt Park (one of the largest parks in Chicago). This is an owner-occupied building with a photo studio on the first floor and the owners living in the unit on the third floor. It's a 100+ year-old building but all the appliances/electric/plumbing are modern. Floors are hardwood laminate. South-facing windows in the living room. Central A/C. There is balcony in the back overlooking the yard. The backyard space is used by the studio downstairs but can be available for use with advance notice and coordination with the owners. A new dishwasher is also being added to the unit. There is a gated parking spot out back but street parking is also free and usually easy to find. Additional storage in the basement is also available for more long-term storage needs. Flexible move-in date but preferably mid March/early April. There is no security deposit but rather a $200 move-in fee. While this fee is nonrefundable it does means that up-front out-of-pocket costs are lower. Renters are responsible for electric, gas, and internet. Unfortunately we do not allow cigarette smoking either in the unit or even on the balcony. Pets are allowed on a case-by-case basis.
