This is a modern ranch with HIGH entry, concrete block with stucco finish home completed in early 2001;which has porcelain travertine tile throughout put in 2005. There are hurricane protection for each window and front door installed in 2009. The garage has hurricane doors for protection.. The home has a fireplace which has never been used so is perfect. The yard has mulch and plants. The back yard is like a tropical paradise with brick pavers around the pool ..installed in 2007and a pond with a waterfall installed in 2010. The refrigerator is stainless steel ( 09). The lot is 63 by 110 ft. Most are 60 or 63 by 100. Neighborhood Description We have a mandatory HOA and front and rear entry gates. We are serviced by the city of Tarpon Springs on water and fire dept., but being in the county we have lower taxes and are also serviced by Pinellas County Sheriff Dept. We can use Waste Pro, a garbage service that is excellent and only $18 a month. People are to maintain their homes and yards but this is not the HOA police. We do not have to have grass in our yards and my yard is so nice and easy care. I live almost like I am in a condo, but have a nice home which is well insulated . We have a wide array of people living here, from very young to elderly...the homes appeal to a wide range of people. Mine is an easy layout that has lots of light if you want it or can close the blinds for dark and privacy. We have a retention pond which, in case of storms does its job for us. I am NOT required to have flood insurance. We are so near to Anclote Park where you can swim in the river which opens to the GULF and is like the gulf at that point. This is a really great place to live as it is out of the traffic and yet near to the main roads of travel. The lots on my side of the street were given 5 ft. of extra land by Pinellas county when we fought the HOA over their fence being in our yards. We won 7-0.in 2005.
