    What's special

    Huge family roomVaulted ceilings

Located down on the flatlands close to the Missouri River, and only a few minutes north of Mandan, this property offers an amazing amount of features with a country feel and room to roam. The beautiful, nearly 3,700 square foot home was totally renovated in 2006, has a dual fuel furnace, and UV lights in the ductwork to kill bacteria. The kitchen has ample cabinets, storage, stainless steel appliances, and a large island. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a huge family room with vaulted ceilings, laundry room, a big 3 stall garage that is insulated, heated, and complete with a finished epoxy floor. Above the garage is a bonus room that would be an amazing office, bedroom, man-cave, she-shed, trophy room or a number of other things as the view out of the window overlooking the property is spectacular. Speaking of the rest of the property, one of the first buildings you will notice aside from the house, is the massive, nearly 19,000 square foot barn. This building was the cornerstone of a state-licensed 999 head feedlot. There are concrete pillars, and 6' high concrete walls form stalls that line both the north and south sidewalls. An auction ring is in the center, and a spectator deck above the stalls also serves as a great storage area. There are also extensive corrals, panels, feed bunks, and a watering system just outside of the barn on the south side. If you have cattle or horses, this place is set up and ready for you. Since there have not been any cattle on the property for several years, the imagination runs wild with other potential uses for this huge building. Some have actually happened. I can picture indoor hockey and skating rinks, an indoor archery range, basketball courts, boat and RV storage, a mechanics shop, and a variety of other uses for work or play. There are a couple of other smaller metal buildings on the property too, but I'm anxious to tell you about the wildlife here! Specifically, the whitetail deer and pheasants that inhabit the brush, tall grass, and huge cottonwoods. Numerous trophy bucks have been taken on this property and I have watched many deer come and go on my visits. With the neighboring crop fields in the area and very limited hunting pressure, the deer feel safe enough to not leave, they have food, they have cover, and as a result, you will be amazed at the number of deer on the property and in the area. Walking out your door for a quick hunt either before or after work can happen here with its phenomenal location. Pheasants are also numerous and more times than not you will jump several on a walk, and hear a rooster cackle as you do yard work around the house. After your yard work, if you need a place to cool off, Lake Harmon Recreation Area is less than 3 miles away and features a nice beach, hiking and mountain bike trails, fishing, and boating. The peace and quiet offered on this property are deafening, it's almost impossible to believe that only a few short miles and a couple of hills away is a busy city. Properties like this are hard to find, get a hold of me today to take a look at this incredible place!
