    4br - 1700ft2 - Four bedroom, detached workshop, trees! (Papago Park View Neighborhood) Pleasant older neighborhood close to ASU, Tempe Town Lake, Papago and Evelyn Hallman Parks, and Sky Harbor, but north of the flight corridor. Biking and hiking paths to Mesa, Phoenix, and Scottsdale with easy access to canal paths throughout the valley. Two master bedrooms, one much larger that we used as a bedroom for a while, then as a pool room with full-sized pool table (not included). It's part of a large addition completed by carpenter owner after purchase in 2004 with permit and fully approved by Tempe building inspectors and including the following: Upgrade to 200 Amp electrical service entrance. Vaulted skylight in kitchen/dining area. Wall separating kitchen from living room eliminated for light/open floor plan. Living room wired for 5.1 theater speakers. We had a projector and screen. Natural maple cabinets and kitchen island with storage and electrical outlets. Gas range with electric start, self-cleaning oven. Kitchen is wired to accept electric range if preferred. Newer dishwasher cleans well. Over range microwave with vent hood. Side-by-side refrigerator. Engineered maple flooring everywhere except Ceramic tile: kitchen floor, bathrooms, and just inside front door, VCT (commercial vinyl) in workshop, laundry, and storage room. Interior doors all upgraded to natural oiled frame and panel. Orangeberg sewer line completely replaced with ABS to the alley connection. Water pressure regulator added to protect irrigation and appliances. Houses in this development originally had a laundry/storage room at back of carport with an outdoor passageway to the back yard separating it from the house. We deepened the laundry room while eliminating the passageway to enlarge the dining area and allow access to the laundry room without going outdoors. We added a locking gate in the block wall so we still have easy exterior access to the back yard. Laundry plumbed for gas and with large capacity gas water heater and dryer, but also wired for electric dryer. Walls and ceiling of laundry finished and insulated. Cabinets above and storage under washer/dryer. Plenty of room for additional storage. The addition consists of the main room plus three smaller rooms approximately 6'x10' each One was an office with full length counter and lots of shelving at the ends. One was the bike storage room with an exterior door. One is now our largest bathroom with separate cast iron tub and tile shower, lots of tile, high ceiling. The exterior walls of the addition are well insulated with 2x6 walls and 2x12 roof. Exterior walls are plywood with battens to match the gables of most houses in the development. Loads of storage above lots of mirror-doored closet space. Windows in addition are all double-pane vinyl. French doors to large embossed concrete patio. Separate 12'x16' insulated workshop with ordinary metal door plus huge double doors built with 2x6's to match the rest of the workshop and the addition. Wired with subpanel for two 240 and four 120 amp circuits with receptacles inside and out. Four recessed high intensity fluorescent two-bulb fixtures for excellent workshop lighting. Several wall cabinets. Building permit was not required for the building, but all electrical was done with permit, inspected and approved by Tempe building inspectors. Room to park four vehicles off street in front on concrete drive. Security doors front and carport entrances. Additional wooden tool storage shed built to fit its location with exterior to match addition. Dog shelter built to match home too. Backyard is well shaded by big mesquite trees. Property has nectarine, pomegranate, and fig trees. Also ash, sissoo, moringa, Chinese pistache, mimosa, grape vine, garden area. Timed automatic irrigation front and rear.
