We're looking to fill two rooms in our house in Historic Filipinotown in a BIPOC-LGBTQIA+ friendly house. About the rooms: The first room is south-facing and has a private bathroom and walk-in closet (walls will be repainted before move-in). The second room is north-facing and shares a bathroom with two other housemates. Both are located on the second floor of the house. Specifics: Rent: First room: $965/month Second room: $786/month Deposit: 2x rent along with first month paid upon application approval Application fee: $50 Utilities: Paid separately and average $100/month for SDG&E, SoCal Gas, AT&T WiFi Available: Starting December 1st Lease: Month-to-month, rent due on the 1st The house/housemates: Though our lease is month-to-month, we have a house preference for individuals looking for more long-term housing. The house has a private driveway for two cars, which is first come, first served. Street parking is available, with weekly sweeps alternating in directions Monday and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. We have a no-pets and no-couples policy. Quiet hours are Monday-Thurs between 10 p.m. - 9 a.m. Many of our housemates have creative passions within the music and photography industry however, we are not a band household. We value the cleanliness of our home and communal areas and as such request that these areas be taken care of. Use your discretion for personal use of illicit substances. We may all participate to certain degrees, but we maintain boundaries in such use interfering with the lives of our housemates. Casual drinking or occasional social activities are fine, but we're not looking for a heavy party vibe or anything that might lead to disruptive behavior. We have an in-unit washer and dryer and garage storage. Our home is located within 5 mins from Echo Park and 10 mins to Downtown and Koreatown with easy access to the 10 and 2 bus lines.
