The Roommates 2 professionals in their 20s and 30s are looking for two awesome roommates that are clean, friendly, responsible, respectful, non-LDS standards, LGBTIAQ+ friendly. Not a party house but we will have small get-togethers a few times a year. Close to I-215, I-80, the canyons (less than 10 mins to Millcreek, Neffs, and Big Cottonwood), 15 minute drive to the University, 20 mins to downtown. Professionals, students, and outdoor/active people are especially encouraged to apply, but everyone is welcome! We love cooking, listening to music, and all outdoor activities. The Rooms We have a couple options! The first room is a decent sized room with a very nice size closet and a small window, tucked away from the action, quietest room in the house. Next we have a very large double-size room that has great natural light and a walk-in closet. The Home Our home has 5 bedrooms and 2.5 baths and is located in East Millcreek/Holladay area at the base of Mt. Olympus. The house is furnished, but the available room is not. Great views of the valley and Mt. Olympus from the property. Amenities * Washer & Dryer + Dishwasher * Quantum Fiber 1000 Mbps (1 Gbps) WiFi (only $35/month!) * Electric stove * AC (central air) / Furnace / Water Heater all work very well * Nice large private backyard with a deck * Great house layout, very open & lots of natural light, even in the basement! * Excellent location * Fantastic freeway/valley/canyon access (close to all the canyons on the east bench) * Reasonably close to a bus stop * Located in a very nice neighborhood * 2-car garage - We use the garage for storage, projects, and our intense ping pong matches, so we don't park our cars in there. * Attic storage (we have plenty of space to store things) * Hardwood floors * Nice stone entranceway, nice carpets downstairs * We use the driveway and street for parking and have never had an issue. Lease & Application Information You are required to submit an application, sign a 1 year lease, complete a background check, provide proof of employment and references for our property management company. You will also be required to sign a roommate agreement that covers basic rules for the house. Financial Information * Rent is ~ $825 per month (depends on the room) * Deposit is $711.25 and is FULLY REFUNDABLE * Move-in date is ASAP * Utilities (including internet) are +- $85/month, on top of rent. Quick Notes * Our property manager is quick to respond to our requests when an issue arises but doesn't drop by unexpectedly . * Just because you have something on your background doesn't automatically disqualify you. Talk to us, we're very reasonable and understanding people. * We like to keep a clean house so we follow a chore chart to make things easier.
