The apartment is completely separate from the rest of the house and has its own private entrance and dedicated deck space--all apartment space is separate, not shared with any other residents. It is newly repainted and re-carpeted throughout, has a brand-new washer/dryer, and was just professionally cleaned top to bottom. The property enjoys a variety of beautiful wildlife. The apartment is 940 square feet, up two flights of stairs atop this quiet home in the hills of Duvall. It includes a spacious bedroom (is currently set up as the bedroom, since it's the most spacious--your choice, of course!) overlooking majestic cedars plus two additional rooms. Use them as guest bedroom, office, craft room, TV room...? The kitchen has plenty of cupboard space and drawers, a pantry, and upgraded fixtures. And the full bathroom also has upgraded fixtures. There is a large storage area at the entrance just for use by this apartment, as well as another storage area within the apartment itself. The apartment is available immediately, with rental preferred by 8/15. Although Cedar House is only 12 minutes from downtown Duvall, it feels like a cottage retreat in the forest and is the perfect place for a sense of peace, quiet, and privacy. We have a greenhouse and a garden area that is currently unused, so a gardening enthusiast interested in whipping it back into shape would be most welcome! The lovely windows throughout are custom wood Cherry Creek windows. Cedar House is an excellent choice for someone who enjoys privacy and solitude, still with the opportunity to connect with others in the house if desired, and is about a 25- to 30-minute drive from Redmond (can be even less at the quietest times). There are three completely separate units in Cedar House (no space shared), with one tenant in each unit. While tenants are friendly and occasionally enjoy an all-house (optional) campfire together, respecting the privacy of others is an important part of the house tradition and guidelines. The home site includes a greenhouse, a lawn with an outdoor twirling clothesline, a composting area, a large open meadow surrounded by majestic trees, a small on-property trail, and ample parking. There is also a campfire pit with seating and a table just for tenants--a perfect place to make s'mores!
