    Open House Sept. 24, Saturday between 11:00am-3:00pm. This 2,000 sq. ft. log home, which rents for $2,300/month, is located at 3000 feet on a 10-acre wooded property in the Sierra Foothills about 2 miles up Wentworth Springs Rd. East of Georgetown, CA. Located on a sloped property, the main house to be rented has wooden decks, one of which offers a grand view of the Sierra Mountain Range. Outdoor features include pavered patio areas (one with Bar-b-Q), a lawn and circular driveway, a surround of defensible space, lots of parking, a swing set and sand box for children, a fenced area for an organic garden and a pathway to forest surround. Please understand however that owners are renting the main house only, as well as certain parking spaces, but not the cottage behind the main house, a wooden shed, a distant barn and the driveway to it, each of which owners will be using to varying degrees. Not to worry: there is lots of parking designated for your own family and guests. The main floor of this beautiful home has three bedrooms and two full baths (one with a big tub and shower, the other with a large walk-in shower). The downstairs has a fourth bedroom, another bathroom, a sizeable storage closet, a gun safe and a hallway which exits to the rear of house (where there is a sheltered walkway & woodshed) and to the front of house (where there is a two-car garage with storage cabinets, a food pantry and walk-in access to a sizeable foundation area with its water heater, gas furnace and additional storage spaces). The main floor also has a remodeled kitchen with granite counter tops, gas stove top (with electric oven below), Adventium Microwave, Maytag side-by-side refrigerator (with water in door), a large sink with garbage disposal, a food pantry, and multiple attractive cabinets which have knotted-birchwood cupboard doors and drawers. Nearby is a walk-in laundry room with Whirlpool washer/dryer stack unit and folding table; and a large separate living room (with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, sliding glass doors, and a high quality Jotul wood-burning stove). Adjacent to the living room is a dining room that can accommodate a sizeable table. Not visible from the house is a nearby internet tower that offers high speed internet via Verizon or T-Mobile. The house has piped-in city water, electric supply lines, a large JS West Propane tank and a Generac generator that activates when power goes out. Owners will permit two pets (one cat and one small dog, or two small dogs) given each is evaluated by owner as both people and other pet friendly. Applicants must meet every requirement stated in The Rental Application, separate Rental Contract/Agreement and its Addendum; and must submit with application a $30.00 Screening Fee as well as evidence of a 600 plus Credit Score. Due at signing will be first and last month's rent, a $2,500 Security Deposit, and first month's pet rent (pet rent being $25.00 monthly per pet). Given winter is coming, tenants should be adept at dealing with snow. Tenant is responsible for paying for propane, electricity, and water, owner pays for garbage. House is strictly non-smoking, outside on deck and patio. The house is located in the forest so it is very important to be aware of fire. Parking in designated areas only.
