New white shingle roof since the photo was taken. Neighborhood Description Totally safe and very quiet. The street only has traffic whose destination is this block. Great view of Mexico and its mountains to the south, the Franklin mountains to the west, the Hueco mountains to the east. About 4200 feet elevation. Great walks up the Franklin mountains into the state park, clear up to the top of the valley, where it connects to the top of Fusselman canyon where Transmountain Pass goes over to the west side of El Paso. Privately operated, fee based, pool within walking distance. Except for high school, schools are within walking distance, but far enough away to be out of sight and sound. The den, where the fireplace is, is paneled in maple. It has a cozy feeling, with a sliding glass door to the back porch and great view. The lights of El Paso and Mexico are beautiful at night. When the Airsho is at Biggs Field, we can see it all with binoculars. Ceiling fans in the den, master bedroom, one other bedroom, and the maid's bedroom/office. The laundry room has a pantry, front-loading washer, gas dryer, second refrigerator, and plenty of room for doing laundry and ironing. As it is part of the maid's quarters, there is a separate rear entrance into the laundry room. DirecTV wired to the internet, with the TV in the den, router in the office.
