Los Prados Park is very close by. A few blocks down the road at the Marina shopping center there's a supermarket, several restaurants, a bakery, two banks, and a bus stop. If you like biking or walking, there is a pleasant path that starts just down the street and goes to Redwood Shores, including Oracle. There's also bike parking on the side of the building, with an industrial bike rack. APPLIANCES The cook top is gas. There's also a gourmet wall oven (electric), a dishwasher and a fridge. There is a central heating gas furnace with ducts to each room, so it's easy to stay warm. The unit has its own dedicated gas water heater. The unit has a portable air conditioner. Your private washer / dryer is in the unit. BACKYARD GARDEN There are a number of large garden beds in the shared backyard behind the unit that's available to you for growing vegetables and flowers. The space gets great sun through much of the day. The backyard has unfenced access to the lagoon. PARKING A reserved, uncovered driveway parking space is available for $50/month. There is also lots of free unmetered street parking in front of the building. Since there are no street cleaning days here, and single family housing across the street, street parking is easy. UTILITIES * Water / sewer / garbage are not included, which is the case for most apartments in San Mateo. This runs about $200 per month, in line with the area. * Electricity and natural gas are not included. The unit has a dedicated natural gas water heater and a brand new gas furnace that are budget friendly. * Internet is not included, but the unit is wired for ATT and Xfinity.
