No city noise or lights. You can hear the coyotes howling on the river bed. We have quail and bunny rabbits with deer and Javalina. The town is unincorporated and gets sheriff protection from Prescott which is the Yavapai county seat. We get about 15 to 17 inches of rain a year. The nights in summer are 10 to 15 degrees cooler than Phoenix. Daytime summer temps are about the same as Phoenix. The valley is small and surrounded by 6000 to 8000 peaks. The elevation in B.C.C. is 2000. The town is landlocked by BLM and Forest Service so its growth is limited for now.
