We are looking for someone to sublease our spacious 1bedroom/1bathroom apartment in South Ames. Lease goes until July 2023. Rent is $925 + electric. (Electric goes through Alliant Energy) $400 security deposit. This building is still relatively new - built in 2019 so it's very modern. This unit unfortunately does not allow pets. I love living here but going to be moving out of state at the end of May and need someone to take over the lease. Management is probably some of the best I've experienced here in Ames and maintenance is quick and responds fast to your needs. Management handles snow removal. Garbage and mailbox located right outside front door. 1st floor apartment, with space outside for outdoor furniture/grill, etc. Free internet and Direct TV cable included. Free gym membership to Ames Fitness (located right down the street from this complex) In unit washer and dryer. Dishwasher + garbage disposal Free one car garage with storage. Trails around property that are beautiful for walks! Conveniently located down the street from highway and Ames Filling Station. Quick drive to commuter lot for students, or there is a bus stop located by complex. All around this has been a great place to live and am sad to leave as I have loved it here. Only utility renter is responsible for is electric. Electric goes through Alliant Energy. The average bill is around $45-55 a month. The highest I have seen our bill is $65.
