    Hello! My name is Will and I have a private room/ bathroom available in my house as early as March 1. Start date is flexible and the month can be prorated. You will be living with myself and a friendly, large and awesome dog named Spek in a nice size 3 bedroom/ 3 bathroom home. The room is on its own, private side of the house with private bathroom and option to use the second adjacent bedroom as an office if you work from home. We will share whichever room of the two you don't choose as a guest bedroom/ office. The house includes a large living room and kitchen, laundry room, game room/ exercise room with some weights, a rowing machine, dart board, foosball- this area is currently being converted to a comfortable den and near completion. The backyard patio is great for entertaining and also includes a grill, hot tub, and wood burning stove in a serene landscaped yard. Plenty of extra storage room in the crawl space/ extra basement room and garage. The front and back yards are both fenced and landscaped and I would allow one well behaved dog in the house (pending how they get along with my dog) or any form of reptile/ amphibian/ fish aquarium. The location is ideal: 2 blocks from former park hill golf course which is now back under Denver's control to become a new park/ golf course, 1 mile south of I-70, 1 mile north of City Park, and approximately 2 miles east of downtown / Rino area - and that is a downhill bike ride on MLK Blvd with a large bike lane. King Soopers/ Stapleton and Northfield mall is also about 2 miles east. All the Lyft/ Uber rides in and out of downtown/ highlands area range 10-20$. Just close enough to the attractions while far enough for a little peace and quiet. The area is pretty quiet with lots of street parking, plenty of food and entertainment nearby and quick access to other areas surrounding Denver via I25 or I70, and thoroughfares. I personally enjoy: hiking and camping while throwing in some off roading, disc golf, mushroom foraging, snowboarding on the ikon pass, traveling abroad, and seeing the occasional great concert. I can smoke a mean brisket and do enjoy entertaining at home occasionally throughout the year. I'm a clean and organized professional near 40 years old and looking for someone of a similar nature with similar interests if possible; male or female works great! One dog can be allowed upon meeting. Indoor aquarium up to 90 gallons allowed with fish/amphibian/ or reptiles. No smoking in house but ok in outside areas. Renter should help to keep shared common areas clean and tidy. We will alternate taking out trash and recycling, share duties of cleaning kitchen, running the dishwasher, light sweeping around the main area - there is a full time robot vacuum on duty covering most of this. I would like to hire a housekeeper to come around 1x per month if we can agree on a small additional cost. I like to stay pretty quiet during weekdays and go out occasionally on weekends. I have a hobie cat sailboat which is great during the summer and I mostly snowboard during the winter. All Utilities are included, including internet and most streaming services. You have the option to upgrade to 2 rooms on the same side of home for only 300$ additional - would work great for a work from home situation. You essentially have your own private area secluded from my side of the house regardless of the extra room or not. I am only looking to fill one room / have one roommate so that the house will never feel crowded, even though there is still plenty of space. The home is available to start on a month to month basis , with a 60 day move out policy. Plenty of street parking available, just need to alternate sides of road 1x per month during street sweeping season.
