Neighborhood has Sugarbush Park running through it along with Sugarbush Woods. There are tennis courts and two playground areas in the park as well as a small sledding hill. There is a neighborhood pool where swimming lessons are given including synchronized swimming. There is a swim team which does competitive swimming. There is a membership fee required for the pool. Thurston Nature Center and pond are also in the neighborhood. In the winter there is some ice skating on the pond. Children walk to both the elementary and middle schools.
