Room in Northeast San Jose House Sierra Vista Open Space/Alum Rock, Bart, VTA Orange Line We're seeking 2 roommates to live in our 4 bedroom house in North San Jose. The house has a nice yard with fruit trees, backs up to an open space, is close to hiking areas, the Berryessa Branch public library, grocery stores, and is appx 3 miles away from the North San Jose Bart Station and 1.5 miles from the Orange Line VTA transit. About Residents: We're a couple who just moved into the house. Dev is a 34 year old ESL and Computer Science Educator, and Liz works as an Applied Researcher at a tech company in SJ. Dev works from home and Liz works in the office a few days a week. We like to hike, travel, study other languages (English, Spanish and Chinese), and explore the bay area. We try to be energy efficient and use sweaters & shades over AC/Heating as much as possible. We clean up after ourselves in the place. We're hoping to find 1-2 nice roommates to enjoy the space with. We keep fairly busy but are up for the occasional shared dinner/hangout and bay area exploration! Ideally our roommates will work at least a few days a week out of the home. -We're open to people working in the bay area for the summer, otherwise we're hoping to find someone who'd be interested in living in the space for the next year or more (six month lease with month to month after that.) Bedrooms (in images below) are currently unfurnished. The house has in-unit laundry & plenty of street parking. The house has two bathrooms one bathroom would be shared between the two roommates we're seeking. We're flexible in terms move-in date any day on or after July 1st. Rent is $1250 a month + utilities.
