There is openness between kitchen and living room. Windows on 2 walls of living room adds a lot of sunlight. There are 2 community gardens one block away! Amazing & kind neighbors! This home is walking distance to downtown West Asheville (1/8 mile) to many restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, and bookstores! 2 cats also live here. Parking: on street but most cars can be mostly off the road. Security Deposit is one month rent and is refundable after lease is ended minus any cost of cleaning or unpaid utility bills or damage that needs repairing. Utilities are split. Water, electric, and Internet. Electric is a little bit lower because I have solar panels. Roommates agree to use headphones in common space when roommates are home. I really like a quiet space after a long day of teaching middle schoolers. Absolutely no smoking of any kind. Prefer roommates who don't drink often - occasional is fine just not interested in a roommate that drinks lots of beer or alcohol.
