Our home remodel included MANY exterior and interior renovations, and there are more renovations yet to come. After a considerable amount of demo, the 2017/2018 renovations included a new ridge vented roof, a HE furnace and a new HE central air-conditioner. A power vented water heater and a new whole home water filtration & water softener system. Completely new interior and exterior plumbing: electrical wiring & 200 Amp circuit breaker service, with all electrical buried underground. We added exterior eave/roof extensions, vented soffits and new gutters. All furnace duct-work was removed, hand washed and returned or replaced. All floor rafters were cleaned and sealed. Our home renovations complete so far include: Level 1, open floor plan, kitchen, dining room plus master suite, guest bath and the 2nd, 1st floor bedroom/office. On the 2nd floor we have added a loft/bedroom with a private bathroom. A cedar walk-in closet with drawer storage. Insulated, sealed and painted dormer storage areas were also renovated, all with amazing storage capacities. Basement family room with a fireplace, a recreation room and wash room were completely renovated with electrical, plumbing, drainage and finishes. An additional basement storage room was added, which could be a n/c 4th bedroom if needed. Basement walls were Beamed for strength prior to finishes. Two bedrooms on the 1st floor are 13' x12' and the 3rd Bedroom/loft, upstairs is 14' X 20' not including the walk-in cedar closet and bathroom areas. There is a TON of storage in this home. We added another Transom windows above the 2nd floor bathroom door, to maximize the sunlight entering the 2nd floor from outside. Period relevant cabinet & door hardware and several additional character building amenities were located and installed into this home. This home was renovated to last many, many more years and it is filled with both inside & outside light! Renovation in the kitchen included new cabinets, granite, lighting, stainless steel appliances, flooring, paint, all new wiring, circuits & all new plumbing, in a style we believe is "timeless." An island counter-top for extra eating space opens to the dining area and provides a significant amount of space for food preparation and serving. Installation of a sliding patio door from the dining area to the cemented patio provide easy access to additional entertainment spaces in the back. We built a 6' in-wall, dining cabinet for displaying pretty serve-wares into the Dining area. The new master bath has a double vanity, granite with tons of storage. With new lighting, wiring, plumbing, fixtures and hardware; it is a wonderful retreat with a place for everything. Our renovation to the 1st floor also includes the addition of a 1st floor ½ guest bath. All existing wood trim, doors now reinstalled, were refinished. Many 2017 & 2018 updates include "time-period" restoration &/or changes. An interior, tilting, beautiful leaded glass transom window was commissioned and custom built over the entrance into the master suite. This home has been painted inside and out! We replaced all the windows with a Low-E vinyl clad and are continuing to replace all window trim and floor trim with a maple modern farmhouse style. New front & back hard-scaping & landscaping surrounds 3 sides of the home and along the new large concrete patio, sidewalks & the wood barbecue deck. We finished the new 20' X 24' We Shed/Workshop to include an additional concrete covered porch area to lounge or entertain in the back.
