The Red Corner Cottage is a newly renovated home nestled right in the heart of Morehead City, NC. The family room offers a large open living room with a 6-person dining table giving you space to spread out. One bedroom has one queen size bed and the other bedroom has two queen size beds. Each bedroom has a TV. This home is also a boater's dream offering double carports, and lots of space to bring your boat (dimensions for boat size provided upon request), and just across the street is the public boat launch and a public dock where you can either drop your boat for a sunset cruise or walk and admire the sunsets dipping your toes in the sound. You can also choose to take advantage of the spacious front porch and relax on the oversized porch swing with a good book. This home is just a short 5 minute drive (2 miles) from the well-known Downtown Morehead City Waterfront, where there are tons of excellent restaurants, stores for shopping and an ice cream shop. This home is also 2.5 miles from Atlantic Beach, where you can enjoy the sand and sun. This home is the perfect place to stay if you are looking to engage in all the fun seasonal events that happen in Downtown Morehead City (Big Rock Tournament in June, Alive at Five Concerts, and Seafood Festival in October). We also know that finding rental properties that are accessible to those with disabilities is challenging, and we strive to have our house as accessible as it can be. With that being said this house offers a wheelchair ramp to enter the house, and bathtub with a place to sit and a grab bar. Unfortunately there is a small (about 5-inches) step from the kitchen into the dining room we like people to be aware of.
