    Designed by Robert Tappan in 1927 for the Queensboro Corporation, this magnificent house is located on a block of beautiful private homes in the Jackson Heights Historic District. This semi-attached “English Garden Home” is constructed of brick with a stunning slate roof and sits on a 40’ by 100’ lot. The basement has been fully renovated, with a bar/lounge/family room along with a renovated half bath. The other half of the basement contains the utilities (a Weil McClain boiler and separate hot water heater), a washer and dryer, and even more storage cabinets. The stunning rear yard is huge and beautifully landscaped. There is a stone patio area along with lots of plantings and a handsome lawn. They do not build houses like this anymore!
