If you're lucky enough to stay in spring, there are 4 varieties of beautiful Peonies that grow in the garden and you are welcome to cut a bouquet. They are my fave. White and red rose bushes are also full and flowering come spring! Broken Arrow is one of the safest cities in the US and there is a lot to do nearby! You'll be just a few short miles from shopping centers and restaurants. If you like to thrift, there is a neighborhood Goodwill, less than a mile down the road. :) You'll be just 5 miles to the The Rose District--Broken Arrow's growing and quaint downtown. You'll see a lively atmosphere with people out and about shopping and dining and the occasional outdoor concert at the park. There is even a local brewery. (The Broken Arrow Brown Ale beer is my favorite) If you enjoy great nightlife and dancing, you'll be just 6 miles to Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. They have a country dance bar called Track 5, where you're bound to dance with some real cowboys. Many nights they have free "up and coming" live country music/ concerts. Riff's is a mainstream music bar with live cover bands and a dance floor. Always a lively crowd at Riffs! Hard Rock is also host to concerts for many popullar bands that you can purchase tickets for. If you enjoy fine dining, book a reservation at McGill's Restaurant. I recommend you sit outside and take in the gorgeous rooftop view! For outdoor lovers, there is hiking nearby and the community is surrounded with beautiful trees and nature. Check out the stunning views at redbud valley nature preserve!
