This house is located in the very safe Whispering Oaks neighborhood just on the East side of 2 mile bridge. It is close enough to the police station and city hall that you could hit either one with a slingshot (though I would not recommend it). Generally, it is a very quiet place. The house sits on 2 lots with large Oak trees and is directly across the street from Lake Tawakoni. It has a very large front porch that runs the length of the front of the house and you can see the lake from there. As an East Tawakoni resident, you will have access to the private boat ramp, 2 city parks and the fishing pier. One park and the pier are located directly across from the house and it takes just a few minutes to walk there. The house has window units for AC and will have wall mounted gas heaters. This subdivision does not have natural gas but rather propane. There is a large propane tank by the covered parking. I own it so there is no lease fee for it. The bedroom is in the back of the house and there is I guess what you would call a small office (or perhaps kids room) in the front of the house. It is small so I advertise it as a 1 bedroom.
