WE bought the house because of the view. It is a 180 degrees view of Puget Sound, Mt Baker and North Cascades. For the most part the view was obstructed. We also like the unique style of the house. Apparently the architect was inspired by Japanese Pagoda. We started a remodel in 2017 to remove all obstacles of this fabulous view, add a large master suite and finish the basement. The basement now has the family/rec room, a bedroom, bathroom and dry patio below the large deck off the living-room. We updated the plumbing and electrical. We also replaced all windows and roof. All bathrooms were updated.
