Three-bedroom, furnished or semi-furnished, family-friendly house in South Amboy, New Jersey. Very short walk (~7minutes) to NJ transit train station: 25 mins to Newark, NJ (Rutgers Newark, NJIT) and 45 mins to New York City. 25 min drive to Rutgers New Brunswick, 50 min drive to Princeton. House is 'foursquare,' approx 100 years old, and has been fully renovated over last five years with new furnace, kitchen, bathroom, and redecoration of all rooms. There are two large bedrooms, one with with a queen bed and one with a pair of twin beds (that can also be a bunk bed), and one smaller bedroom with a captains bed. There is also an office and a shady, fenced yard with patio outdoor table and gas grill. South Amboy is on the Raritan Bay, has a nice waterfront park, a new YMCA and all the usual amenities are nearby. There are public schools from Elementary through High School, as well as a couple of private Catholic schools. Small pets ok. We have a crib and other baby stuff which we could set up as well.
