There are wonderful shops and restaurants in Manzanita as well as in Cannon Beach, which is 15 minutes north. An added bonus...Manzanita has a unique weather pattern that we call the 'Neah-Kah-Nie Effect'. When the forecast calls for clouds or fog, the clouds seem to stop at Neah-Kah-Nie Mountain to the north of us and at Nehalem Bay to the south and we sit in the beautiful clear skies! Oddly enough, this happens more often than not!
