2 bedrooms and private bath! Use one as an office and the other as a bedroom. Available May 8th. Looking for a chill, clean roommate. Please read all the way through before reaching out. The Space: Brand new house! I bought it in 2018 after a complete renovation. This is by far the nicest place you'll find in the area, especially for the price. 6 bedrooms/4baths with all new appliances including washer and dryer, a great dishwasher, and central AC. You'll be getting TWO bedrooms which share a private bathroom with shower and tub. Each room has a closet with sliding doors. Over 500sqft between the two rooms. The last roommate used one as an office and the other as a bedroom. Hardwood flooring throughout the house with carpet in your bedroom. It is a shoes free house. There's a driveway which fits 2 cars along with plenty of street parking. The photos are from when I bought the house. We do have a refrigerator. It even has the water thing in the door! Just haven't had a chance to go down and take new photos. We live in Mountain View which is just east of Barrio Logan. The neighborhood is definitely more working class but everyone is extremely friendly. There is usually a fiesta every weekend but parking has never been an issue. Our neighbor, Reuben, who used to raise fighting cocks still has a few hens and we're always welcome to snag some eggs. But if you need anything else, there's a shopping plaza with a great grocery store + panaderia right across the street. Also pizza, obligate taqueria and a Subway help round things out. Costco is about 5 minutes up the street. I regularly run around the area and have never felt unsafe. We're only about 15 minutes away from anything you want to do in San Diego. Balboa Park and downtown are about 8 minutes away and OB is 15 barring traffic. The garden could use some work. One of the roommates has grand plans so anyone who loves working out in the sun is especially appreciated About Us: You'll be sharing the home with 3 awesome people including myself though you'll rarely see me since I spend most of my time traveling. We're all pretty easy-going and get along pretty well. I'm an engineer, running a consulting business. This largely keeps me up in Seattle and LA but I'll come down for a weekend every few months. The other two are a social media marketer and a from Puerto Rico and an interior designer. Both are super sweet and helpful. We're all pretty quiet and do our own thing though try to get together once every few weeks. About You: - Mid 20's to mid 30's but really it's more about how well you fit in with everybody else - Financially stable (I'll ask for proof of employment or funds) - Respectful of others. The last roommate was a huge douche so we evicted him - Quieter. The house is kind of echo-ey so close your door if you're watching tv or playing music - Helpful. Look out for packages, bring in the mail - Clean. We're all adults with busy lives but you should do your fair share to keep the common areas clean, especially the kitchen. Also maybe sweep once in a while. I don't want to be the asshole with a chore chart. Money and the Fine Print: Rent is $1400 a month plus utilities (water/gas/electric) which are divided equally between the four of us but usually run between $50 - $75. Internet is included. Prior to move-in, you'll need to pay a refundable security deposit of $1400. Upon move in, you'll pay first month's rent which will be prorated based upon your move-in date. The lease runs for a year. Security deposit will be returned with 21 days. Thanks for reading all of this. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or would like to arrange a showing.
