Welcome to Duke's Place- a brand new, dog-friendly home in Massanutten. This fully furnished home is available for short or long term leases! Please inquire about stays shorter than a month. Enjoy your vacation in this beautiful custom-built house with all of the features that make it feel like home. Finished 9/2020, the house is a spacious 1710 sq ft with three bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms on two levels. The home has a master bedroom with king bed and en suite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen size bed and is located on the upper level. Bedroom 3 is also on second level and has two twin sized beds. HOME FEATURES The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to prepare and serve home-cooked meals. We also provide a Keurig for coffee. All linens for bedding, towels, and washcloths are provided. We also provide dishwasher tabs and laundry pods for each day of your stay. Paper good such as toilet paper and paper towels will be provided. A laundry room with washer and dryer are also available for guest use. No smoking in the house. Home is pet friendly. **Please note that since this new construction & delays with COVID, Comcast has not been able to install internet to the home yet. The mountain has national cell towers installed at the top, so there is excellent cell service** MASSANUTTEN RESORT The home is located inside the gated community of Massanutten Resort. The Resort offers skiing, two golf courses, water park, mountain biking, ziplining, putt-putt, go-carts, tennis, swimming, fishing, parks and more are only a couple miles from the house. The resort maintains 30 miles of hiking trails. The private owners pool is available for use by our guests from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Tennis courts are also located by the pool. Resort Activities are available to our guests for an additional fee (must be purchased through the Resort). SURROUNDING AREA Downtown Harrisonburg and James Madison University are 15 miles from our home. There are many fantastic restaurant, museums and shops that are fun to explore in downtown. The closest Shenandoah River access is only 10 miles from the house. Tubing and kayaking are fun to enjoy during the summer. The Swift Gap entrance to Shenandoah National Park and Blue Ridge Trail is only 15 miles away and offers excellent hiking trails. Wineries and breweries are a short drive from the home. Owner pays for all utilities. Home is dog friendly- pet fee is required. Absolutely no smoking and please park only in the driveway.
