This fully-furnished one level house is located near the Potomac River and is very close to Harpers Ferry, WV, Antietam National Battlefield, historic Sharpsburg, MD, the C&O canal and other local attractions. The home is accessed via the long set of steps shown in the pictures. The house has a spacious feel and includes a full kitchen, 1 full bath, washer/dryer and sleeps 4 with a queen size bed and convertible sofa. Pets are welcome with a deposit. The bedroom is fairly spacious, but the pictures don't do a good job of defining that room. The stack washer/dryer is in the bathroom, but not shown in the pictures. Also the couch has been changed since the pictures were taken, and it has a new sofa bed mattress. We do have a vacation rental next door that supplies WiFi to the house and you can use it free of charge, but if you need really high speed WiFi for gaming, etc, you could have that provided at your expense. The well water is tested safe, but contains minor amounts of hydrogen sulfide which produces some odor. Also the garage currently contains storage items for vacation rentals we manage in the area, but I'm open to clearing it out with some help. The neighbors lot uphill next to the house could use some tidying, but it's out of view. I'd prefer a 6 month lease to start, but I'm open to extending it to a year if things are going well. Please follow the following process to apply: 1) Send msg in Zillow asking to apply and give your combined gross income, approximate credit score, number of occupants, and number of pets. 2) If you meet the basic qualifications, you will be contacted to schedule a time to view the apartment. 3) View the apartment. 4) If you are still interested after viewing the apartment, you will be asked to fill out a full Zillow application+credit+background check (one for each person). 5) You will be contacted with further questions or notified if you were selected. 6) If you are selected, sign lease and pay first month's rent and security deposit. First month's rent and security deposit due on signing the lease. Water, sewer, trash, and recycle provided by owner. $300 pet deposit plus small monthly fee for cats and dogs. Applicants must have a gross income of $42,000/year, a credit score of 625 or higher, and a very clean background with no prior evictions. Lease terms: 12 month lease with 1st month's rent and security deposit due at signing. Applicants with pets charged an extra pet security deposit of $400 and pay an extra monthly fee for cats ($20/month/cat) and small dogs ($l5 /month/dog).
