I have really enjoyed my experience at Pheasant Run. Pheasant Run is a safe, quiet area with many trees on the property. It has bright, spacious apartments, convenient parking and is very close to the the Route 5 bus line. The apartments have a nice amount of space for the price and is honestly one of the most affordable apartment complexes in Ann Arbor while still being surprisingly close to downtown A2 and Ypsi. Downtown Ann Arbor is a 7 min drive, 10 minute bus, or 15-20 min bike. EMU is about a 10-15 minute drive away. You can get to any side of Ann Arbor in 20 minutes or less, but are away from town enough for it to be pretty calm and quiet. Maintenance is very responsive and fixes any issues in your apartment very quickly. This apartment is conveniently located on the second floor of the building. If you are interested in signing a lease for a one-bedroom apartment at Pheasant Run, but want to skip the often long wait time (apartments here are first come, first serve. I waited over a month to be able to get a second floor apartment!), this could be a good opportunity for you. Move-in would be anytime after December 28th. You would be signing your own lease (not taking over mine) and moving into the apartment. If you need furniture, I have some that might be for sale. Just let me know which items you are interested in and perhaps we can work something out. Pheasant Run offers discounted rent to U of M students and employees (it might also extend to EMU students/employees. It's wouldn't hurt to ask if that applies to you). For me (I'm a U-M employee) I got $60 off my rent but they may have changed the discount since I signed and so it might be different for incoming renters. Email me with any questions and I'll get back with you.
