    Welcome to my much loved, large, and unique loft located in McLean Gardens. This 1500 square foot / two story unit is on the third and fourth floor of a six unit walk-up. It has hardwood floors, a new HVAC system, and a recently updated kitchen and bathroom (a new toilet was installed just this week). The unit is currently being repainted, and carpet professionally cleaned as well. The first floor includes the main bedroom, bathroom, in-unit washer / dryer, living room, dining room, and kitchen. The second floor is a large, carpeted open space which is also the second bedroom with more than enough space for an office as well. There is a large walk-in closet with custom made shelving, and an attic for additional storage. This unit is districted to some of the best schools in DC (Eaton Elementary and Hardy Middle School) and is within a few blocks of the National Cathedral School, Sidwell, and St. Albans. As well as a 5 minute walk from wonderful daycares such as the Spanish immersion daycare and preschool Communikids, Embassy Row Childcare Center, and the new Kindercare that just opened this month. It is also a two block walk to the new Wegmans and CityRidge development. This is a family friendly, kid-filled neighborhood with Newark Street Park (made for 2-5 year old kids) at the end of the street and the Giant / CVS a two block walk away. This has been my community for the past 10 years and I can vouch for the wonderful people both in my building and in the neighborhood. I am looking for a responsible, respectful tenant to move into the condo in January (date negotiable). Tenleytown and Cleveland Park redline metro stations are a 15 -minute walk away; convenient metro buses to downtown, Georgetown and American University are right on the corner, as are a new Giant Foods, CVS, Starbucks and multiple popular restaurants. No smoking, and no pets and I'm very sorry but my daughter's allergies are too severe to make exceptions. I am happy to answer any questions or arrange for a tour of the condo starting on December 19. Thanks! Rent includes: Pepco bill, Recycling, Trash, Water and Sewer. No pets and no smoking please. Street parking right in front of the condo is ample and located in Zone 3.
