We are seeking an awesome housemate (preferably female) to join our one-of-a-kind house on a beautiful, quiet, street in Mar Vista -- the neighborhood adjacent to Venice Beach. The house is a spacious 5 bedroom, 3100 sq ft, 2-story house-- fully furnished, on a quarter acre plot of land, with an incredible backyard replete with fruit-tree filled garden. You'd be getting a downstairs bedroom with private bathroom to yourself. The room is available for move-in June 15. Your housemates: You will be joining 4 excellent humans (3 guys and 1 gal) who are in their late 20's & early 30's: Jeff Chen (physician, healthcare entrepreneur, CEO), Marie Tanaka (grad student in Psychology), Alex Milligan (tech entrepreneur, CMO), and Ambrose Soehn (musician, creative agency director). We are just about the most fun, chill and thoughtful housemates you can ask for, and most of us are either from Los Angeles or have been living in LA for a decade--we went to USC, UCLA, Cornell, Brown, U of Arizona, and have strong communities across the startup, healthcare, technology, and creative industries. We are looking for a housemate that has a great vibe. Adjectives that might be ascribed to you include easy going, super clean and tidy, financially stable, respectful, communicative. Other ideal personality traits include preferring to host conscious gatherings and dinner parties rather than ragers, preferring to partake in a wellness event rather than getting drunk and yelling at the TV. It may sound like we're picky. We are. Alas. Dream big? The house is an 8 min drive to the beach, 5 min walk to dozens of restaurants, shops, grocery stores, banks, CVS, beer gardens, bars, cafes, yoga studios, gyms, martial arts centers, meditation center, farmers market, food trucks, etc, even a bowling alley and a record store and Japanese food court and multiple vintage thrift shops! Close to the beach but also near both the 10 and 405 freeways so you can get anywhere in LA without getting stuck in beach/tourist traffic. We prefer someone who will join for the duration of our lease, which ends 11/10/22 at which point we have the option to renew (we've been living here since November 2018 and have amazing landlords).
