We warmly welcome you to 1920 and the Hideout, first established back when Lakeshore Drive was just a two-track road seldom traveled by anyone other than the isolated cottagers randomly dotted along the gold coast shoreline of Lake Michigan. This infamous historic home has housed bootleggers and gangsters alike back from the prohibition era! Now you too, can eat, sleep, and live where they once did! And better still, you can enjoy the amazing amenities of the Holland area that they never had! The Hideout has been restored back to its original condition of 1920. Much of the furniture and decor has been authenticated, appraised, and documented. Our passion is to have our guests step back in time to see and feel what it would have been like to set foot in the Hideout back during the prohibition era! Seasonal rental available from November-May. Renter is responsible for all utilities. Landlord takes care of snow removal and lawn care. Please note that the detached garage is not included as part of the rent and is not available. No smoking in the home or on the property.
