DESCRIPTION OF APARTMENT: This is a first floor apartment, available 9/15 to 10/1/2014. It is about 4 blocks from the intersection of route 352 and Brookhaven Road. Close to Springfield, Media and Swarthmore. It is 20 minutes by train to center city Philadelphia. DESCRIPTION OF APARTMENT. Located in a 3 story building, this first floor apartment is 1/2 story 'above' ground, since the basement is 1/2 story 'below' basement. You have a private basement section, with a lockable door, and there is a washer and dryer (not coin operated) there for your own use only. The other tenant (2nd floor) has a similar private basement for their own use. As you walk into the main security door, which has a dead bolt and knob locks. Your apartment door has a knob lock and deadbolt lock as well as the basement lock, (keyed alike, so you only need one key for all) and you enter into a little foyer. There is an large entry closet with a shelf there. The KITCHEN is large, but not eat in, however there is a divider between the dining area and kitchen which can be used to serve food, or even to put bar stools and use as a small table for perhaps a microwave. APPLIANCES are, refrigerator, self cleaning stove with oven, sink with garbage disposer, dishwasher and many, many upper and lower cabinets. There is extra cabinet space also in the divider between the kitchen and dining area. Then, there is a hallway which leads to the back two bedrooms. On one side of the hallway is a bathroom, with tub, shower and vanity, and down from that is a linen closet. Opposite the bathroom is a 'walk-in' closet. Then you get to the two BEDROOMS. One is a little larger than 'den' size, and has one very deep closet and shelf, and the other will take king size furniture, and has one wall which is 'all' closet with one divider in the center for holding up a shelf. (which makes two private closets, and two bi-fold doors) Your basement private area is approximately 20 foot x 20 foot, so there is plenty of storage room there, as is your washer and dryer as well as a heat pump which will heat and cool the basement area, if needed. (for your use only). Also, FREE with your lease, is a SWIMMING POOL, which is about one walking block from your residence. The number of pool passes depends on how many people will be occupying the apartment, but if you wanted to bring a guest, I believe they only charge a dollar or two. You also have one RESERVED parking space which only you will park in, and many unreserved spaces for your friends. This apartment is condo, so you will NOT have to do any landscaping (UNLESS YOU WISH TO plant flowers) or shovel any snow, as that is paid for monthly, BY ME. The SCHOOL DISTRICT is the Strathaven School District and is one of the top two in the whole Philadelphia and suburban area. Many come here just to put their children in the school district since it is so good. The mix at Saybrook is very good, young, old, and many different peoples, and the section is very safe and secure. The only key you will share with the upstairs tenant is the main entry key. Apartment keys are private and the only other person with them would be myself, as I must be able to let you use my key if you lock yourself out, or if a repair is needed to be done. For any repairs, I would be with the workman as long as they are in your aparrtment. (unless you wish to be there yourself) NO ONE GOES IN UNACCOMPANIED UNLESS AUTHORIZED BY YOU! I have had these apartments for 30 years with no complaints. The only restriction is by the condo, and they do NOT allow dogs, and drapery must be white on the side that shows outside. I look forward to hearing from you, as I do not know how long this apartment will remain available. Please check the photos online here, and if you have any questions, I'll be happy to answer them. .
