The photo Zillow currently shows is not of our property but of the roof of a house in front of it. Where did this photo originate? Not one we have taken. It is taken at ground level and it prominently includes trash cans. This appears to be a deliberate effort by Zillow to denigrate the property. Until now we have not shown photos of the house and the Zillow site did not include any. The current photo has been added very recently and of course without consultation with us. Further details of Zillow's incompetence or mendacity are provided after the next paragraph. Here are some accurate details: New roof 2019. New kitchen 2019. Four bedrooms three bathrooms upstairs recently redecorated, one bedroom one bathroom downstairs in refurbished apartment with own entrance. Wine cellar. Surrounded by citrus and fruit trees, an extensive vegetable garden, mature roses, trees and succulents, mountain views incl to the Topa Topa. Private road, cul de sac. Now read why the Zillow price is hopelessly wrong and possibly criminal. Zestimate reduced the price of this house by approx 50% in September/October 2020 with no reason whatsoever and with no change in value to neighboring homes. We suspect a rogue or vindictive Zillow operator or a hacker, or that somebody in Zillow is being bribed to manipulate data for reasons that we do not know. First the zestimate was reduced overnight by 29% and then, immediately after we complained, reduced it by another 4%Then, after we mailed a complaint to Zillow it fell by a further $130,000. Nothing could smell more like vindictiveness. Best use local real estate agents. Zillow's main business may be to sell meta data to third parties. It appears to be an extraordinarily sloppy, perhaps corruptible, certainly unresponsive and uncaring institution.
This property is off market, which means it's not currently listed for sale or rent on Zillow. This may be different from what's available on other websites or public sources.
