Crockett is a quaint little town chocked full of small town events - BBQs, festivals, dinners, etc. There is a community center, local recreational areas (including tennis courts, a pool, bocce ball courts, and a playground/picnic area complete with built in BBQ's) and a few places to hike, bike or just enjoy the beautiful views of the Carquinez bridge and straight. The majority of our neighbors in our immediate area are a bit older - only a few with school-aged children. Most are very friendly and social - waving as we drive by on our way into or out of town or stopping to say "hello." There is also a wonderful little market 1 block away with everything you could ever need in a pinch.
