This charming guesthouse is perfect for folks looking for a place to stay in New Orleans. It is conveniently located just off the interstate, so you'll be able to reach many popular destinations (The French Quarter! City Park! The Fair Grounds!) in just a few minutes. After enjoying all the Crescent City has to offer, you can rest easy knowing your home-away-from-home is located in the peaceful neighborhood of Gentilly Terrace. A quiet refuge in a city known for bacchanalian excess! You won't have to worry about the sounds of traffic, planes, parties, or people keeping you up at night. The space is a private guest house with its own bathroom, kitchen, and living area (partitioned to create a 'bedroom' and living room). The guest house is located in the backyard of the owner's primary residence, so the owner will be readily on-hand to assist you should you require anything. The guest house is locked using a keypad, which upon signing the lease, will be set to a custom code for you. This means you'll have no keys to manage, and you'll be able to come and go as you please! The guest house bathroom has a Jacuzzi, though it has been outfitted to be usable as a shower as well. Although there are no laundry facilities in the guest house itself, you are more than welcome to do your laundry in the main house. Similarly, the main house has a modest home gym, which you would be welcome to use as well. The guest house, laundry room, and gym are all accessed by walking through a side gate and into the backyard. There is ample, free street parking outside. I live on site in the 'main house', and I am happy to be as available as needed! If you prefer privacy, the guest house space is designed that you should be able to live your best life without any assistance from me. However, if you discover that you need anything, have any questions, or even want to hang out and barbecue together in the backyard, you can feel free to message me! In short: I'll assume you'll want privacy, but please don't hesitate to ask for anything as the needs arise. **Important Note** -- The current furniture layout of the space does not perfectly match the furniture layout in these photos; previous tenants moved furniture around. Still, the photos should provide a very accurate view of what the space *could* look like -- and you'd be free to re-arrange furniture as you see fit as well, of course! Owner pays for all utilities; renter's contribution to utilities are factored into the monthly rent. No smoking inside the house, please. This is for renting the guest house on the property, but tenant will also be given access to the bottom floor of the main house, where they can access laundry machines and a small home gym. Additionally, there is a shared yard area between the main house and the guest house which the renter is welcome to use as well. There is ample street parking. No pets allowed, unless a negotiation is reached between owner and renter. Lease is for six months, but happy to negotiate alternative durations based on renter's needs. Renter is expected to take good care of the property, and please notify owner promptly if there are issues that require attention.
