I would like to start out by saying this renovation took 10 years to complete, finished only with top quality materials. Areas have been added, walls have been removed, walls have been added and finally the masterpiece is complete. The rest of the work was decorative, and there was quite a lot of it since basically the down stairs floor plan was completely changed. Given the opportunity to remove the old plaster and install sheet rock, the walls and attic were insulated, making this vintage house a little more energy efficient. All the alligator paint was stripped off the wood work, windows, door facings, staircase up stairs and down & repainted or left natural. The kitchen is magnificent...over sized 12 x 18 tiles for the flooring, counter tops are white marble and backsplash is subway tile. The cabinets were refinished and painted in today's decorator colors, making this room bright and sunny. All appliances are new along with modern recessed LED lighting. If school zones are a concern, please verify.
