I'm looking for someone to share the duplex I have rented. It's a beautiful two-story duplex with a room and an office/second room for you along with a full bath. Rent does not include utilities, which vary per month/usage. The house is located 3 blocks from the commuter rail, very close to all the downtown attractions, and less than a mile from the ocean. The apartment features new stainless steel appliances, an eat-in kitchen, a back deck, a beautiful shared back garden where you can grill (BYOG), and plenty of living space. Washer/dryer in the basement and on-street parking with permits. The full duplex is 4 bedrooms, two on the main level and two upstairs. The main level rooms would be for your private use. They are 12x12 rooms with large closets and hardwood floors. There is a full bath in between them. I am a mature woman who will be working at home for the foreseeable future. I love to cook and bake, read, kayak, hang out at the beach, and travel. I moved to Beverly to be closer to my sister's family (including my niece (9.5) and nephew(7)). I have been sharing the house with a housemate and my 25lbs dog, who is friendly, non-destructive and follows me everywhere. I'd love to have a congenial home life with someone I liked to be around and chat with, but don't need you to be a BFF. It'd be great to occasionally watch a movie when we are both around, share some wine, chat on the back deck in the evening. I'm LGBTQ friendly (of course!) and hoping for someone like myself--who enjoys having someone else around the house over living alone, despite being a bit above the typical roommate age.
