We use the Portola Valley address at the request of the US Post Office -- we are in the PV "sphere of influence". Property values here have held their own during the recent mortgage crises that affected many newer homes around the Bay Area. It is a great place to raise a family -- good schools and stable property values. The Ladera Recreation Area is very close -- Nice playground with wading pool for the little kids, big swimming pool with full-time lifeguard, and about six tennis courts.
