There are TWO 17' closets (bedroom & living area) with TONS of storage space. Central heat & A/C with programmable thermostat. Bathroom has a fiberglass tub/shower, toilet, small vanity and large cube storage unit. Towels & linens are provided. Laundry is at one end of the bathroom and features large capacity washer & dryer. HVP laminate flooring throughout. This "apartment" is within a 50' x 60' metal building and has a private entrance. (Barndominium). The unit is on the north side of the building, and is protected from the blazing sun, keeping energy costs low. Owner (artist) lives in an apartment directly above this unit, inside the large studio area that makes up the rest of the building. Because of this, any concerns will be quickly addressed. The building/apartment is 3 years old, and in excellent condition. Building is set back on the lot, with plenty of parking area (outside); there is a large fenced area behind the building with a locked gate; if you have "toys", they could be secured here (also outside). Central location, just 4 miles from the center of town (Smiths, Walmart, Home Depot) The "ideal tenant" would be a single person (unit can accommdate a couple), employed/retired, quiet and neat (I'm a clean freak), who may occasionally (or not) pet sit my Jack Russell terrier when I travel (if I don't take him with). If you like to hike/bike, you will be in heaven. There is a large desert area 1/4 mile from the property. I walk/hike daily, and you are invited to tag along. Lease duration is negotiable, but 6 months at a minimum (we can discuss). First, last and a $600 security deposit (refundable is apartment is left exactly as it was when you moved in)- $200 nonrefundable cleaning deposit. Owner is responsible for all outside maintenance (mowing the yard, watering plants, weeding, etc) as well as replacing anything that wears out due to "normal wear & tear".
