Located at 3813 Spring Garden Street, the building itself is a renovated and well-kept rectory, with a keyed front entry shared between only six tenants. Neighbors are respectful and quiet. This unit is on the third floor and features an open floor plan that maximizes space but doesn't feel cramped. Vaulted ceilings and hardwood flooring throughout with central heat and air (hard to find and efficient). The only utility bill that the tenant is responsible for is electric!The kitchen boasts a four burner electric range, stainless steel sink with garbage disposal, refrigerator, and a built in bar height table. The previous tenant left two standalone pantries and a wooden table with three chairs complete with cushions; we have no need for these, and will include them for the new tenant as well. The living area is adjacent to the kitchen and is brilliantly lit by three large windows.There is one full bathroom in the shared hallway which will also include an above toilet storage shelf and a below sink cabinet. The main bedroom is large enough to fit a king size bed comfortably, with adjacent room for dressers. Four massive windows allow ample sunlight in during the day, eliminating electricity costs. This bedroom also has two lighted closets.We converted the second bedroom into a guest room/study, but it could easily accommodate another roommate with a full size bed. This room has one smaller closet and two large closets for a total of three. Once again, the two large windows really light up the room during the day.Washer and dryers are shared and located in the basement downstairs. And quite possibly the best feature of all: A PRIVATE, OFF-STREET PARKING LOT! Good luck trying to find an apartment that features a safe, free, off-street parking lot nearby!The building is a safe fifteen-minute walk to Drexel, University of Pennsylvania, and area hospitals. Food, shopping, and the subway are equally as close.We have loved the unit's efficiency, safety, and convenience for the past two years, but job relocation has forced us to move. We're sure you'll enjoy the apartment as much as we did!A security deposit of $1,000 is due to begin your lease term and the Landlord requires a credit and renting history check.
