Large kitchen. River views from the large picture windows in the dining and living rooms. Fireplace. Wood floors. Currently, the downstairs study (my room) is undergoing floor refinishing, but this activity and future renovation efforts (window upgrades) will not affect you -- unless you have experience and advice you'd like to share. Quiet, serene surroundings. Chickens and guineas. Large gardens and fruit trees, grapes, and berries offer abundant fresh organic food for this vegetarian (with seafood) household and plenty of opportunities for gardening, orcharding, and relaxing. Fish, ducks, eagles, osprey on the river. Occasional kayakers, beavers, seals. A 30-mile Seattle-to-Kent bicycle and walking path. The world is different here, slower. Writers, artists, and creative women of all ages -- including those who like to invent, experiment, and relax -- are encouraged! This is a small, friendly community of neighbors. You can choose to share afternoon walks, writing or other activities -- or enjoy them by yourself.
