We are seeking tenants for the lower portion of this lakefront home. It has a separate and secure entry. This rental is unfurnished. The house sits on a large property, with a rare 175 feet of waterfront. The lower level opens out onto the yard and shoreline of the property. The west yard is designated for the lower unit; the large south yard (which includes the dock and swimming area) is shared with the upper unit and homeowner. The kitchen area is open, with full-sized refrigerator, gas stove and dishwasher. The living room has a small, free-standing gas fireplace. There is a 3/4 bath as well as a jetted-tub in the "spa room," which is separate from the bathroom and has an exterior door out to the west yard. Radiant heating comes up from the floor and is fueled by natural gas. There is a full-sized washer & dryer located in the kitchen area. A shared (but otherwise secure) utility/furnace room offers space to store personal equipment (such as a paddle board or bike). Additional secure on-site storage is available for a monthly fee. Parking is on the street level. Exterior stairs take you from the street down to the yard, lakeshore, and main entry to the lower unit. Utilities: The owner pays 15% of the usage charges for gas, electricity, water, and sewer. The remainder is shared proportionally with the upstairs. Upper and lower tenants share garbage, recycle, and yard waste fees. Tenants in this lower unit are responsible for turning on and off the sprinkler system in spring and summer. The remainder of yard maintenance is shared. As noted, this property has 175 feet of accessible waterfront. Be aware that this presents a severe hazard for young children. No vaping or smoking of any substances is allowed on the property There is easy access to both I-5 and Hi-way 167. Only 22 minutes to Seattle and 18 minutes to Tacoma.
