-This is a true Historic treasure!. It is the original Fullerton family home built during and after the Civil War. It has been faithfully and quite skillfully restored in many aspects, but, of course, renovated with new lighting, electrical and plum bing fixtures that reflect another, older era. This home has to be seen and toured to be appreciated. All the windows have been either restored or replaced with period correct replacements allowing in abundant natural light. There are 4 to 5 fireplac es with the original walnut mantle intact that are currently covered but could be restored to working order. There is even one in the kitchen. This home is full of light and charm from our past generating a very positive feel. It won the Outstanding Preservation Project Award in 2002 presented by Bloomington Restorations.
