Our home is a middle entrance colonial home on a beautiful oak-tree laced street. We are on a corner lot across from a park all my children played in when they were young - we could watch them from our side porch. It is a street of professionals, many of whom work in Boston, and walk to the MBTA trolley stop for a 20 minute ride in town. We are blessed to be under 5 minutes from the Blue Hills Reservation which boasts 125 miles of hiking trails. My children learned to ski on Big Blue only minutes away. If you are an outdoors person, there are several ways to spend your time: hiking, trail biking, fishing, and road biking. Our bike path to the Boston is minutes away and takes you along the Neponset River to U/Mass Boston/Kennedy Library and along the beaches of South Boston. A beautiful ride...and flat. From my house to Castle Island in South Boston and back is 26 miles - all along the water. Milton Schools are all less than 10 years old, modern and beautiful. Milton also hosts the world famous Milton Academy. All this and 3.5 miles, by the way the crow fly to downtown Boston. Milton is a multicultural town rich with diversity. Admittedly, our home needs work but is solid and we have the best location on our street. All the photos are within minutes of my house whether it's a quiet walk around Pope's Pond or a longer hike around Ponkapog lake. If you are interested in viewing our home, please call Mike Quinn 617-538-8756. By appointment only. And if you are not from the area, a personal tour.
