It was a Grand Era when Tower Grove Park and the Shaw Neighborhood were created as a new part of Saint Louis City. The neighborhood was a clearing the French called Prairie des Noyers. In 1816 Captain William Chambers owned much of the area and a 19 year old man, Henry Shaw purchased some acreage in 1840. Here be built his Tower Grove home and began his garden area, which is today's Botanical Garden. Shaw enjoyed recreating an area of his English Childhood. Today we have Historical Flair and Contemporary Living with an excellently restored two story condo. An inviting grand Living Area leads to the Kitchen enhanced with Stainless Steel Appliances. There is wonderful hardwood flooring; a Master Suite with Ensuite bath and a walk-in closet . The second floor is graciously appointed with newer fixtures. The lower level with a storage and laundry area provide the complements Henry Shaw would have certainly provided in today's construction. Try the grandeur of Saint Louis City.
