Turn-key 2 bedroom, 2 bath, second floor Condominium overlooking the 8th Green of Twin Isles Country Club in a very quiet part of Punta Gorda with relatively light traffic for the area. Twin Isles CC is a very nice 18 hole golf course open to the public, but also offers very inexpensive full, social and seasonal memberships. There are good practice facilities and a decent bar and restaurant. The club was just purchased by a new management company and will be undergoing some exciting renovations very soon. Walmart, Aldi, Home Depot, and Publix are all within 5 minutes (on a busy day) away, and Chipotle and Chik-Fil-A are being built nearby. Plenty of restaurants, including a fantastic Mexican Restaurant are within walking distance, as well. Downtown, with great restaurants and night-life, as well as the sunseeker resort are less than ten minutes away. This is a very safe residence in storms and hurricanes. The second floor is at an elevation that would make it unlikely to be vulnerable to storm-surge, and long-term residents noted only street flooding on only a few occasions over the past twenty years. This unit sustained no damage from Hurricanes Ian, Helene, or Milton other than one caused a hole in the fabric awning over the entrance. Both buildings sustained roof damage from Hurricane Ian. The building that houses this unit sustained only minor damage. A new roof was installed within the past year. This unit has Impact glass on every window except for the guest bedroom.
