This cozy, well-insulated 336 sq/ft studio cabin, known as the Black Bear cabin, sits next door to another cabin that is also for rent. It provides a comfortable, quaint living space among the lodge pole pines bordering Forest Service land, off the beaten path, but only minutes from beautiful Glacier National Park. It's only 5 1/2 miles from the nearest grocery store and 12 miles from Columbia Falls. The cabin is partially furnished (the couch will most likely be taken out, but that's up for discussion) but linens, dinnerware, silverware, and cooking utensils are not provided. The cabin has electric heat and a back-up kerosene heater. The oven/stove is electric. There is no dishwasher or washer/dryer on-site. There is a queen-sized bed in the cabin, as well as a couch, side tables, and dining room table. There is a full bath with an adjustable shower head. Monthly rent includes snow removal, utilities, and WiFi. Tenant is responsible for their own PO Box in order to receive mail. If interested and want to hold the cabin for move-in in October, tenant will need to put down a nonrefundable deposit of $750 that will go towards the first month's rent. All utilities, internet, and snow removal from driveway are covered by owner. Last month's rent is due at signing. No smoking inside or within 20 feet of the rental. Renter is responsible for trash disposal. This rental is available up until May 15th. The cabin is cozy for 2, but won't comfortably accommodate more than that.
