    What's special

You will feel relaxed and at home in this beautiful alcove studio with open views, next to the park, in an excellent 24 hr doorman building. Previous residents of this apartment have mentioned that they like: "Walking to (and from) the building through the shade of trees feels like we are living in an oasis inside this great metropolis" "I love jogging in the park, but I also have my friends over for a picnic at least in the park twice a year" "Having Whole Foods and Trader Joe's so close is great. But I also like shopping at the Associated, Key Foods and Gristedes. Everything is just so close, but it's still maintains that quiet, residential feeling you don't always get in the city" "when I have friends over, they usually say it feels more like a one-bedroom. And for some reason they always point out the huge closet space" "having this gigantic window is awesome. Not only because of the natural light during the day, but it adds to the open feel of the apartment" "Lots of light and a good kitchen was important to me. But the spacious feeling is what I most appreciated" Lots of light north-facing, wall to wall windows that provide a wide-open feeling and let in lots of light. Open views north and toward the park. You walk into a small foyer area (approx 7ft x 6ft) from which you see the LIVING SPACE that provides ample room to feel at home, with long walls to hang your art work and make this your own abode. And all your "stuff" can be neatly stowed away in the large walk-in CLOSET. Your SLEEPING ALCOVE is off to the side and easily fits a queen size bed and bedside tables. The SEPARATE KITCHEN has ample counter and cabinet space and is equipped with Stainless Steel appliances, including a dishwasher and a microwave oven. The just-renovated BATHROOM is accessed through a walk-through dressing closet, which is equipped with shelves and drawers to store all your clothes. With the full service 24-hour concierge, private security, resident building manager and live-in super the essentials are taken care of. The building's facilities include a large laundry room, a fully equipped FITNESS CENTER, a bicycle room, a children's playroom, and a courtyard under the trees. The LOCATION is awesome: although when you walk out of the building you are enveloped by trees, you are also just steps from Central Park (specifically "the pool" pond, north meadow) and a about 4 blocks from Riverside park on the Hudson River. As for transportation, you are close to B/C lines, bus, Citi bike, and a short walk to the 1/2/3 lines. If you need something, there are 3 Supermarkets (incl. Whole Foods) within a couple of blocks, pharmacy, banks, dry cleaning, coffee shops, shopping, and even a NY Public library.
